Is Spring Really the Best Time to Sell/Buy?

One of my favorite parts about living in Utah is the changing of seasons. But when it comes to selling your home, how do you know which season is the best? Many would argue that spring is the ideal time to sell/buy--but is it?

According to a Redfin study, 39% of the homes listed in the spring went under contract in the last 30 days and 15% sold for more than the list price. Compared to the winter months, 38% of homes listed within 30 days saw 14% of those homes sold for more than the list price.
